Introduction

During Rigging Fundamentals I will go through the process of constructing mechanisms to enable complex movement for inanimate digital assets. I will be examining tools, techniques, and theories required to ensure production and animator friendly rigs. I will continue the notion of 'visual programming' to help understand, illustrate, and plan elaborate mechanical structures to replicate the inherent movement that 
surrounds us. The outcome of this brief will be a pair of legs that are ready to be easily animated, which I will show by animating a simple walk cycle with the legs myself.
